Non-destructive tests (NDT)

We provide a service that ensures the final result of your activity.
Gabadi has a laboratory to perform tests using three methods: dye penetrants, magnetic particles and ultrasounds, obtaining key information to handle and use parts.

Our staff is highly trained to perform such tests, having the required approvals.

We have carried out inspections for:
•    Nuclear power stations
•    Dye penetrant inspections of propellers
•    Thickness measurement onboard ships
•    Weld macrographic examinations
•    Global tests

CERTIFICATIONS

We certify our work

After having achieved ISO 9000 certificate in 1997, we have focused on meeting customer needs and ensuring quality. This commitment to quality has been confirmed by ISO 14001 on Environmental Management and OHSAS 18000 on Safety.
In terms of products and services, we have many international certificates.

In addition, we also have certificates of several products intended for marine use according to the Marine Equipment Directive (MED).

      •    CERTIFICATION FOR THICKNESS MEASUREMENTS IN VESSELS ACCORDING TO BUREAU VERITAS PROCEDURE.
      •    CERTIFICATION FOR CONDUCTING NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTS (CERTIAEND).
      •    APPROVAL FOR REPAIRING ALL KINDS OF LNG CARRIERS MEMBRANE SYSTEMS. GRANTED BY GTT (TECHNICAL SERVICE AGREEMENT –TSA–).
      •    APPROVAL FOR CONSTRUCTING TANKS WITH MEMBRANE SYSTEMS ACCORDING TO GTT’s REQUIREMENTS (TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND LICENSE AGREEMENT –TALA–).
      •    SEVERAL NATO APPROVED PRODUCTS.
